The 2013 S60 introduces All Wheel Drive to it's already critically acclaimed T5 model, making All Wheel Drive now available on the entire S60 model line up. Starting at $33,750 MSRP, the New Volvo S60 T5 AWD utilizes an electronically controlled AWD system from Haldex, which gives it the traction abilities to take on all variations of road and weather conditions.  And even on a dry road, the tractive abilities and precision handling from the AWD system help to lessen over-steer and under-steer conditions so you can enjoy the driving experience.  Even the Volvo K-PAX racing team believes AWD delivers an edge on the race track, particularly when it rains. 

All Wheel Drive Features: The next generation Haldex AWD system Electronically controlled for fast and seamless engagement, applying instantaneous torque transfer between front and rear axles when needed. Improved handling dynamics, even on dry surfaces Instant Traction feature ensures all four wheels are engaged to ensure superior traction at vehicle launch  Under ideal surface conditions, the Haldex AWD sytstem defaults to a 95% front / 5% rear torque distribution which contributes to improved fuel efficiency
The S60 T5 engine also features significant technical improvements for 2013 which make the S60 T5 faster and more fuel efficient than ever before. Acceleration performance on the S60 T5 FWD improves by nearly half a second to 6.4 seconds in the 0-60 mph run. And, the New S60 T5 AWD not only offers the most horsepower and torque for an entry model in the AWD segment, it will also reach 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds. This acceleration is 0.2 second faster, and the combined fuel economy target is the same as last year's S60 T5 FWD – now that's efficiency!

SUN CURTAIN, REAR WINDOWS

Elegantly integrated in the hatshelf, this transparent sun curtain helps improve in-car climate in direct sun light. Just pull it up and attach it in the roof sealing.

SUNSHADE, REAR WINDOWS

Easily attached to the rear side windows and rear window, these sunshades provide effective protection from the heat and glare of the sun. And when the sunshades are not needed, simply remove them.

MUDFLAPS, FRONT AND REAR

SUNGLASS HOLDER

Fitted in place of any of the entry grab-handles, this holder keeps your eyeglasses or sunglasses within reach. Simply press the cover and it opens up.

These light-weight wide-angle reflectors stand upright to alert other road users even in strong winds and on slippery surfaces. They fold easily and store in their own case.

FIRST-AID KIT

The first-aid kit is conveniently carried in the load compartment and contains a variety of bandages. The contents are stored in different compartments to make it easier to find what you want in an emergency.

BOOSTER CUSHION WITH BACKREST

Made from comfortable -- yet highly impact-absorbent material -- the booster cushion is designed to make sure children between the ages of 3-10 sit high enough so their safety belt fits properly. The adjustable backrest provides extra support for their back and neck, even greater protection in a rear-end collision and can also be tilted for sleeping.

ACTIVITY BAG

With a built-in cupholder and several practical compartments, the bag is a play-table, an extra storage space for toys and even has a life outside the car as a backpack. Designed for children sitting on a booster cushion.

PARK ASSIST FRONT AND PARK ASSIST REAR

Activated when you engage reverse gear, rear park assist helps you when reversing into tight spaces. The audio system is turned down and a pulsating sound from the rear loudspeakers becomes a continuous tone as you approach an obstacle. Front park assist performs a similar function at the front of the vehicle – alerting you via the front loudspeakers. The remaining distance is also shown in the center console color display.
